Wishing Everyone the Blessings of the Holy Month of Ramadan
In the name of Allah Most Gracious Most Merciful.
“Ramadan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur’an as a guide to mankind also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (between right and wrong). So everyone of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting but if anyone is ill or on a journey the prescribed period (should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you He does not want to put you to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.”
~ Holy Qur’an 2:185 (A. Yusuf Ali)
The holy month of Ramadan is a special time to seek the blessings of Allah SWT for yourself and loved ones.
Ramadan is so blessed that the birds of the air, fish in the oceans, and animals on the land pray for the forgiveness of all those who fast. Moreover, when they break their fast at iftar, the angels say amin to their duas.
Those who are fortunate and wise enough to take advantage of the blessings of this month are honoured with special status, such as that of a friend (wali) and servant (abdal) of Allah.
As Muslims, this is a wonderful opportunity not to be wasted, to learn valuable lessons from our sheikhs and to regard each moment of this month as a precious gift from our Creator, to seek out His Divine Grace and to be showered by His Endless Blessings.
Salam and Happy Ramadan!
